When Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman, the critically acclaimed duo Aztec Two-Step, burst on the scene in 1972 with their Elektra Records debut, they were reviewed as having the "intellectual lyricism" and "ethereal harmonies" of their legendary predecessors, Simon & Garfunkel.

Renowned for bringing the folk/rock music of the 1960s into the '70s and beyond, Aztec Two-Step continues to be one of acoustic music's most respected and enduring acts. While the duo possess a rich musical legacy of their own, it only makes sense that they would choose to interpret and perform the timeless songs and harmonies of Simon & Garfunkel.

Performing the songbook since 2005, Aztec Two-Step now joins forces with legendary broadcaster Pete Fornatale in an expanded version of the show.

One of the architects of progressive FM radio, Pete Fornatale is the author of the recently published book Simon and Garfunkel's Bookends (Rodale Press). His celebrated long-running program, "Mixed Bag," is currently heard onWFUV-FM in NewYork and nationally on XM satellite radio.

When Pete ran into Art Garfunkel recently, Artie embraced him, thanked him for writing the book, and said, "Pete, I knew you were paying close attention all of those years, but I didn't realize you were taking notes!"

Pete brings an exciting new dimension of scholarship, storytelling and fun to Aztec's Simon and Garfunkel Songbook concerts.
